What officials can do together to help support members of our extended families!

We are committed to eliminate food waste at sports events by donating items and foodstuffs gathered by officials’ groups to local organizations that can redistribute those items to shelters or unhoused individuals.

Events voucher system purchases leave $3500 on the table over a 3 day event, either unused food or discarded by officials.

We can donate the 20% of unused food for officials at volleyball events with no legal liability to the tournament directors or RefsGiving staff because of the Bill Emerson Good Samaritan Act.

Overall thousands of dollars are wasted which could be used to support unhoused individuals and local shelters in the immediate areas of all local tournaments.

What do we do?

These pantry staples, unused food and other items will be delivered to homeless shelters in our community.

We work and coordinate with officials and events management to gather all excess goods and unused food.

Volunteer

As a non-profit organization, volunteers are our lifeblood. Volunteers collect food and items, drive trucks, and promote our work across the community. If making a measurable impact on the lives of people in our community sounds like something you want to be a part of, sign up to volunteer. We’d love to have you join our Family!
